Hello Friends,

As a community we have collected hundreds of eggs from the Wild. The result of that effort has revealed our newest creature: The Ponya-Pan!

Congratulations to Sandsheℓℓ for winning my mini-contest for her imaginative drawing of the Ponya-Pan before they had hatched. Many thanks to all who contributed drawings, it is this sort of participation that makes Creature Breeder amazing.

I’d also like to give my congratulations to the recent winners of the “Second Annual Winter Themed” design contest:

Dramatacious’s Snowflake
*PandaDesigns*’s Winter
Queen’s Pear
FallingCrystal’s Lonely

And finally, for my community design picks:

lunaescence’s Village

kaiqiao’s Rawr

These both showcase new accessories in wonderful ways. Keep up the good work.

That’s all for now!

Dear Breeders,

Fortune favors us once again! We believe a Ponya-Pan egg has been discovered in the Wild:

This creature is renowned for its elusive nature. Until today we never thought it would venture so close to the edge of the forest. If the rumors are true, we can tell you one thing for certain: It won’t be so easily tamed as the docile Eledillo!

There are no recorded images of a Ponya-Pan, only vague details recounted by word-of-mouth, but the markings on this egg match the stories we have heard. If we raise them with care, we should find it to be an exotic animal with an independent streak!

I’ll keep you posted if I recover more details.

Good luck you Wild explorers!

Dear Breeders,

In the process of fixing some bugs related to breeding we found out that creatures aren’t quite as big as they should be when they reach breeding maturity. We think it makes more sense visually if the creatures that are breeding age are also very noticeable in size. Creatures will grow faster as they reach maturity, then the growth will slow down again. Creatures won’t be any bigger than they used to be at old age. Hopefully this produces a more realistic growth curve.

I’ll keep you posted!

Dear Breeders,

Winter is upon us, and the holidays are nigh! Celebrate the season with a winter-themed design, and enter it into the new
Winter Themed Contest! Good luck :)

Perhaps some new accessories will help. I don’t know if Bamboo evokes images of bare December trees or snowy hills, but the new stones could form a dry riverbed.

Forest Bamboo:

Beach Stones:

Let me know if there is a particularly beautiful design using these new accessories.

One more announcement! We have a new feature for finding suitable matches for breeding.

You’ll notice that it chooses potential matches from your favourite list as well as your own farms. Please let us know if you have any suggestions for the new breeding proposals on the forums. We always love to here your ideas!

Thanks so much for continuing to be a wonderful, helpful community.

Dear Breeders,

Thanks to an adventurous team of explorers who brought back numerous eggs from the Wild, we have a new species of creature: the Eledillo!

The Eledillo, despite the prominent horns on the female gender, is a gentle, curious and intelligent species. They feature prominent armored plates for protection that dazzle with a wide variety of color as they grow.

Now that Eledillos from the Wild have been tamed, they will be sold in the store!

Congratulations to the breeders that found the first eggs, you have a small piece of history with the oldest Eledillos on Creature Breeder.

One more thing, I wanted to highlight two new store accessories, green and yellow wheat. They will looks quite nice in a meadow!

Hello Friends,

Have any of you designers ever ended up with a few extra accessories at the end of a design? Well, now there is a quick way to remove specific accessories without ever leaving your farm.

The Farm Inspector!

Click any accessory to view its details. You can sell it or add it to your unused accessories. It’s great for fine-tuning your design!

Also, since we are talking about designers I’d like to share a couple farms that are making great use of new accessories:

Queen’s Chile

BeHappyNow_:{D’s TheFarm

This is just fantastic design! If you have a great design that showcases new accessories, please let me know(choochoo). I’d like to shine a spotlight on our communities creativity!

Greetings!

In the spirit of giving, we have made it possible to feed creatures in abandoned farms. I’m sure there will be many thankful creatures! We are also giving a small reward for feeding them, depending on how sick they are. There needs to be a Food Crate or Food Barrel in order to feed creatures from a foreign farm.

Let’s work together to keep our creatures well-fed!

For those of you that are experiencing the first snow of the season, we also released a snow-covered pine to welcome the wintery weather to your farms:

Enjoy the Holidays and your time on Creature Breeder!

Warm Wishes,
